For comparison, Halo 2 has 1.5 Million pre-orders. The largest pre-ordered game ever. Gears of War had sold roughly 4 Million copies by May of this year, it being the biggest Xbox 360 seller ever. GTA IV? The combined PS3 and Xbox 360 total runs a distant second. Could Halo 3 be the biggest game release of all time?
